Home Comfort Specialist
Cleaning, companionship, and everyday household help for older adults.
Assignments, service areas, availability, and compensation are discussed before you accept work.
What a Sunshine Visit can include
- Clean kitchens, bathrooms, floors, and living spaces according to the agreed Home Comfort Plan.
- Help with dishes, laundry, fresh linens, tidying, and light organizing.
- Make time for conversation, coffee, games, reading, and shared hobbies.
- Complete approved errands such as groceries, household supplies, prescription pickup, and post office drop-offs. Help with seasonal decorating, gift wrapping, and preparing for family visits. Share visit updates only with authorized contacts.
This is a nonmedical service role. We do not provide client transportation, bathing, toileting, personal hygiene assistance, medication administration, wound care, lifting or transfers, or skilled nursing. Prescription pickup does not include administering medication.

- Are willing to complete lawful background screening and meet applicable insurance requirements.

A few questions you may have
Is this an employee position?
This opportunity is currently structured for independent subcontractors. You can accept or decline offered assignments. The written agreement explains compensation, responsibilities, and service expectations.
What is the pay?
Compensation is discussed directly and confirmed in writing before an assignment is accepted. Any available performance incentives will also be explained in advance.
Do I need cleaning experience?
Experience with cleaning, household support, or working with older adults is helpful. We also want to understand your reliability, attention to detail, and ability to build respectful connections with seniors.
Will I be providing medical or personal care?
No. This role includes cleaning, companionship, errands, and approved household support. Requests outside that scope are referred to the Company.
